Introduction
Food and beverage packaging — thin-wall trays, lids, caps and closures, bag-in-box closures, disposable cutlery — is one of the highest-volume segments in injection molding. Uniform designs and builds multi-cavity molds in food-contact PP, PS, PET and PLA, with short cycle times for scalable large-series production. Our molds for thin-wall trays and disposable cutlery — configurations from 16 to 32 cavities — are designed with high-efficiency cooling.

Multi-cavity and stack molds for food and beverage
For thin-wall trays and disposable cutlery we work with multi-cavity and stack molds up to 32 cavities, with optimized cooling for uninterrupted production continuity. Runner balancing ensures uniform filling of all cavities. For caps, closures and bag-in-box closures we ensure reliable hermetic sealing and compliance with the customer specification. On request we integrate IML systems during molding. The choice of steel follows the customer specification; on request we propose solutions according to the material — PP, PS, PET, PLA — and the expected volumes.

Molds for the food and beverage sector require high surface finishes, consistent component reproducibility and durability over time — requirements that we manage from design through to the in-house mold trial. We use advanced cooling technologies and optimized surface coatings to extend the mold service life. The modular structure with interchangeable inserts allows the mold to be adapted to product or specification changes without rebuilding the entire mold. We support the customer from design to delivery: technical consultancy, in-house mold trial with dimensional report and after-sales assistance.

We design molds for the food and beverage sector with replaceable inserts in the highest-wear zones, so as to reduce downtime in the event of maintenance.
